2011 Audi TT-RS Celebrate 20 Years of MTM

Company MTM German tuner has released an additional stage for the Audi TT-RS to celebrate 20 years of MTM. This seems a very difficult job for most tuners. What MTM does is it modifies the vehicle's electronic
control unit and equips it with MTM's own turbocharger and a whole new set of MTM exhaust system.

The tuning company's aim is to increase driving dynamics, acceleration and maximum speed.

MTM used the stock 2.5-litre 5-cylinder turbo as a basis. The engine control unit was adjusted and a new exhaust system with new middle- and end- pipes with throttle valves fitted. As for the wheels, MTM has replaced the standard with Dunlop Sport Maxx tires. The tuned vehicle achieves 188.8 horsepower per liter.

With this extra power added under its hood, the Audi TT RS can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in no less than 3.2 seconds, and keep on accelerating until reaching a top speed of 312 km/h (194 mph).

The car runs on MTM sport wheels with the original BIMOTO design measuring 19-inch or 20-inch.
