EDO Competition Unveiled the LP750 More Powerful Than Its Predecessor

In 2008 the tuning specialists from Ahlen laid hands on a Lamborghini MurciƩlago LP640 and turned into the fastest and most powerful MurciƩlago in the world. But today, EDO Competition unveiled the LP750, this latest example overshadows its predecessor, the LP710, even powerful version.

The Edo LP750 features an optimized aerodynamics package which improves high-speed stability and adds to the dynamic and elegant appearance of the vehicle. The package includes a re-designed, beautifully shaped rear wing featuring an adjustable lip spoiler to round off the package. The car sits on a new set of ultra-lightweight 18/19 alloy wheels with special Michelin 265/35 ZR 18 front and 345/30 ZR 19 rear tires.

In order to obtain that impressive engine update, Edo Competition is offering a completely revised intake system featuring a new hand-made intake manifold as well as modified air ducts, high performance exhaust headers, high flow catalytic converters, more aggressive camshafts, bucket tappets, mufflers, and exhaust tips and high flow air filters developed from the ground up and installed on the vehicle. The ECU was reprogrammed to make ideal use of these modifications.

Specs engine, As the name suggests, power output is 750 PS, torque 740 Nm (546 ft-lb). As a result, 0 to 100 km (62 mph) is reached in 3.1 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 9.7 seconds and the magical 300 km/h (186 mph) mark in 24.5 seconds continuing on to a top speed of 365 km/h (227 mph). edo competition claims this is the fastest Murcielago in the world.

To help provide stability at top speed, a new body kit with sharper edges and greater surface area has been installed in addition to a re-shaped rear spoiler with an adjustable lip.

Not on the menu of most Lambo tuners, edo competion offers a 2-wheel-drive conversion that comes with a new single plate clutch which is necessary to compensate for the added power. In the LP750 the RWD package saves 40 kg (88 lbs) and makes the vehicle a bit more agile.

All modifications are carried out exclusively at edo competition Motorsport GmbH in Ahlen, Germany. Edo Competition has yet to announce any prices for their update.
