2010 edo Competition Aston Martin DB9 converts into a DBS

2010 edo Competition Aston Martin DB9 converts into a DBS. Edo Competition Aston Martin DBS is the outcome of the alteration carried out by Engineers at tuning firm Edo Competition. improving as well as underlining the magnificence as well as beauty of this British delight and strengthening the sporting character
was a goal declared by Edo foe.

The initial step taken by Edo Competition was mending the energy output. It was agreed that 517 hp and 570 Nm (420 ft-lb) are not quite enough. The engine control unit was modified via software recalibration. Thanks to a new high performance exhaust system, special catalytic converters and high flow air filters, power output was increased to an impressive 550 hp and 600 Nm (442 ft-lb). This is enough power to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.1 seconds and continue on to a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph).

Normally when a free flow exhaust system is placed into a car, horsepower and torque increases, but will also move the power band higher up in the rev range due to back-pressure loss. The exhaust that edo competition designed has a butterfly valve system that allows for back-pressure at lower rpms and keeps the torque down low. The exhaust is also tunable, allowing for either a rich exhaust sound or quite by adjustment on the remote control.

The engine isn't the only thing edo competition upgraded. The suspension is replaced with a fully adjustable system that allows for height and dampening changes. They also installed huge brakes consisting of 6-pot monoblock calipers on all four corners are matched 16 inch rotors in front and 15 inch rotors in back.

The interior design of the DBS can be spiced up with the available carbon fiber shifter and shifter console, or the customer can opt for a custom interior in any color or material he desires, including handmade leather interiors. Special interiors or lavish leather upholstery, individual requests are accommodated and executed with quality.

To provide superior levels of grip, edo competition offers exclusive wheel/tire combinations. Featuring a new wheel design, the edo Aston Martin DBS is equipped with a set of 21 in. racing wheels. The three-piece wheels come with stainless steel outer rims and the customer can choose the stock tire dimensions or go with a set of Continental tires in the following dimensions: 255/ 30 ZR 21 (front), 295/ 25 ZR 21 (rear).

Edo competition also added sports suspension to this luxury sports car for more comfort and a new high performance brake system for added safety. The result: a highly impressive and safe 2010 Edo Competition Aston Martin DBS.
